Aluminum 1700 Outfitter brought in with bad dent in starboard side. The freeboard, hull and spray rail were pushed in. Customer did not want the freeboard replaced, but repaired instead.
A view from the inside showing the pushed in aluminum. Notice the bent cross support.
Here is a view of the whole boat, the damage is not visible in this photo.
Another photo showing the damaged area. The rubbed crease in the red paint starts with a sharp puncture through the aluminum that will have to be repaired.
The boat is finished! The customer chose Lund Cobalt blue and a new decal package.
Here you can see the repaired area - the horizontal row of rivets is due to a new support brace to add strength to the aluminum weakened by the impact damage. The punctured area has been repaired as well.
A view from the interior. You can see the aluminum rib on the left added or strength.
Finally, a new main floor and carpet - replaced due to the rot that existed in the floor before.
